So you work in an office environment and are struggling to control your weight. Why would this be? Well you may have chosen just about the worst career as there is very little exercise involved, on average. So how can one control their weight when working in an office?

It seems that today members of our society are suffering from some kind of weight problem, whether it is obesity, type II diabetes, or high blood pressure. In fact, it seems that people are literally drowning in fat. Why is it that so many people have weight problems? Originally, weight loss programs were designed to educate people on food, eating patterns, and exercising while improving self-esteem. In fact many people don’t become over-wight because of a lack of will-power and self-motivation, they become over-weight because they have a lack of knowledge about what they should be eating. However, because the media bombards us with differing views about healthy eating, it is no wonder we are confused with something simple as eating well and exercising more.
Due to today’s attitude to make a buck, weight loss programs that started out as helping people to educate themselves on living a healthier life have gone to the way-side, becoming a money making scheme that pump out the same kind of diets and programs to the masses. Instead of individually assisting and educating each and every client, many weight loss programs will actually issue low-calorie diets as a cost-effective and straight-forward means to get people to lose weight.
This type of program offers little explanation to their clients, leaving them in the dark about how they are losing weight, if it best for their own health, and even why weight loss is happening. Because they leave their clients clueless about the specifics of the weight loss program, many end up putting back the weight they loss and feeling worse than before.
