A Weight Loss Plan For People Who Work In An Office
Mar 3rd
So you work in an office environment and are struggling to control your weight. Why would this be? Well you may have chosen just about the worst career as there is very little exercise involved, on average. So how can one control their weight when working in an office?
To answer this question we need to start by realising the reasons why people put on weight in the first place. In general it is due to the fact a person is unable to burn off the total amount of calories that they have consumed within that day.
In general the type of person who is likely to read this form of article would not be somebody who visits the gym every night after they finish work and therefore these tips are for those who are struggling to control their weight.
I also work in an office environment helping people to obtain cheap calls and have decided that there is only one answer to my own weight problems. I had to stop eating so many fatty type foods and replace them with healthier options.
I stopped the jacket potatoes with those fatty toppings, I stopped the baguettes and I stopped the club sandwiches. In their place came a couple of bananas, vegetable soup and salads.
I have now successfully returned to a weight that I am content with however it has been far from easy.
My overall life has improved as a result and I have managed to gain confidence as a result; it has also enabled me to have the belief to offer Marks and Spencer Voucher Codes and cheap holidays.
I hope this article enables other office workers to also lose weight as it has sure made a massive difference to my life. That audio book has changed my life for the better.
How To Improve Your Health And Lose Weight
Jan 28th
I am a person who has seemingly always been over-weight. Being over-weight affected my whole life, I was unable to wear the clothes I wanted to and I often felt guilty after eating certain foods. In my opinion I felt sure that I would be a much happier person if only I could attain what I considered my ideal weight.
I guess that I had problems with my weight mainly due to comfort eating – I was quite a depressive person you see due to the fact that I had a stuttering speech impediment.
One day I was talking to a neighbour who was not only very nice but also quite thin. She looked very fit and healthy and I enquired as to how she kept so trim.
This neighbour who is called Gillian seemed quite taken aback and even flattered by my question and went quite coy. She stated that at one point in her life, she had also had a weight problem and had not been happy about it. What she was about to say was quite a shock to me, however would eventually change my life.
She went on to say that wherever she went to at this stage of her life, she would travel to by car.She then decided to purchase a dog and started to take her on quite a few walks each day. In the past Gillian had not wanted to do any form of keep fit however she was now taking her lovely dog on numerous walks each day and enjoying them.
Gillian quickly noticed that not only was she losing weight but that she also felt a lot healthier. She soon reached her favoured weight.
After listening to Gillian’s story I decided to follow her weight loss program. Yes I went and bought a dog and am happy to report that it has also worked for me.
I have top say that I am now a much more content guy. This has helped me to have a successful career selling composite doors for a local composite door company. I also have a little part-time role working for a team of business cost cutting.
You can lose weight; you just need to eat healthier and exercise more.
Thoughts On Overcoming Binge Eating
Dec 20th
Binge eating is actually quite a common disorder and more serious that people realise. Often it is overlooked because of the shame associated with it and many find it very difficult overcoming binge eating.
Binge eating can be done in a number of different ways and its important to know whether you fall into one of the categories as this is the first step to taking on the problem. If you find that you eat so much until you feel full and physically sick, or else you eat large amounts of food when you are not actually hungry then you may have a problem. Equally, if you find that you are eating along and feel depressed and guilty after eating then you should seek help.
As well as being a physical problem affecting your health, binge eating is a mental or emotion issue as well because this is the underlying reason as to why it is happening. The disorder is marked by times of distress and you therefore you need to look at why you are depressed and tackle that head on before the disorder goes away.
It is often a serious problem because people get into a vicious cycle whereby they feel depressed and so turn to food to comfort them and then they begin to feel even worse due to what they are doing. Food becomes their drug and an addiction sets in which causes weight gain, again leading to a lowering of confidence and self esteem which continued to affect your mental state of mind.
Everything needs to be taken on step at a time and the final goal needs to be to eat normally and healthily. It is necessary that you look for help from professionals who can help you to understand what the larger problems are associated with the disorder.
Counselling and talking to friends and family is important. Do not be ashamed of what you are going through, it happens to so many people who do not want to talk about it, yet can lead to far serious problems if not discussed. Take each day at a time and surround yourself with support. Gradually you will get better.
